Helping young learners thrive in a safe, inspiring classroom that feels like home.
At BSE Early Excellence Academy, we believe a child’s early years set the tone for lifelong learning. Our Brooklyn‑based academy of early education offers a warm, nurturing environment where children ages two to five learn, play, and grow through discovery and creativity.
We combine structure and spontaneity to help children build confidence, independence, social skills, and early academic foundations at a natural and encouraging pace.
Early childhood education should go beyond childcare. Children deserve a safe and nurturing environment with structure, encouragement, and experiences that spark growth in every area of development.
Our Brooklyn early childhood education program combines hands-on activities with purposeful lessons that support steady, joyful learning.
In our classrooms, kids strengthen their language and communication skills while building early math and school readiness through interactive lessons, storytelling, group activities, and hands-on learning experiences.
Our classrooms are bright, engaging spaces where creativity meets learning. Through small group instruction, interactive play, and individualized support, children feel encouraged to participate and explore new ideas.
When children graduate from our program, they leave with curiosity fueled by a positive connection with learning that continues well beyond preschool.
We believe early childhood education should prepare children for far more than their next classroom. We want children to become confident learners, thoughtful classmates, and curious thinkers.
At the core, we create classrooms where children feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and continuing to grow. We celebrate progress and encourage participation in age-appropriate challenges to prepare children for future learning experiences.
Young children learn best when they are actively involved in what they are doing. Our daycare with play-based learning blends instruction with hands-on exploration, creative activities, and engaging classroom experiences.
Throughout the day, children are encouraged to ask questions, communicate with others, and solve problems through supervised interaction and purposeful play.
Our play-based preschool environment encourages curiosity and helps children develop a positive connection with learning from an early age. Rather than simply keep children occupied, we help them become more confident in classroom and social settings with each new experience.
The heart of BSE Early Excellence Academy lies with our incredible teachers. Each educator brings passion, expertise, and a deep love for helping children flourish. We know that every child learns differently, and they meet them where they are, every single day.
Margarita Kotlyarsky has been passionate about teaching since her own early Montessori days. Her background includes preschool teaching, tutoring, special education experience, and work as a children’s therapy intern. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Math from Southern New Hampshire University and brings three years of classroom experience in elementary education. As a certified yoga instructor, she also incorporates mindfulness and movement into her teaching whenever possible.

Our kid wants to be in the school and never wants to leave, and that says everything. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely care. We’ve seen so much growth in her already.
We were looking for a place that offered more than daycare, and BSE has been exactly that. The structure, attention, and educational focus have made a big impact on our son.
Play-based learning means children learn through guided activities that feel natural and fun. Teachers use hands-on play, stories, movement, and group projects to build early literacy, math readiness, communication, and social skills without forcing “sit-still” learning.
We prepare children for kindergarten by establishing classroom habits, communication skills, listening abilities, and early academic foundations. Through planned routines and instruction, children gain confidence participating in group settings and develop the independence needed for future school success.
Our daycare with play-based learning focuses on real developmental progress, not just supervision. Small class sizes, experienced educators, and individualized attention create a balanced environment where children feel secure while creating academic readiness.
